The very best decision that we made as a part of our wedding planning process was to book Shannon and Joe from Century Tree. The moment we met them at our initial meeting we simply clicked. Not only are they a dynamic and highly talented professional duo, they are two of the most genuine people you will ever meet. I am so grateful they were recommended to us, and I would highly encourage any couple to book them for your wedding. You will not be disappointed, if anything they will far exceed your expectations.
Shannon's talent for photography is simply amazing. She makes you feel comfortable in front of a camera and captures the sweetest moments that I feel most photographers can miss out on. She has a penchant for lighting and playing with shadows and other techniques that I haven't seen in many of her colleagues. During our wedding day she did an exceptional job of corralling our families (no small task, indeed), she saw the sun setting and pulled us out to get some fantastic golden hour photos. She snuck around the venue like a ninja, never obtrusive but always present making sure to capture every memory. I could go on and on about how talented this woman is, but her stunning portfolio speaks for itself.
Joe had all of our friends and family dancing till the last song. We received so many comments on what an amazing DJ he is and we couldn't agree more. We wanted someone who would be more than play a standard wedding playlist and would would get people dancing, and boy did Joe deliver! During one of the final songs he brought out his signature panda head and a dinosaur head and my husband and I had a blast going crazy and dancing with them on. At the last possible moment (7pm on our wedding day) I mentioned it would be nice to do our private dance outside and both him and Shannon made it happen (thank you again, that was so special). We turned over the majority of our music choices, including a large portion of the processional and reception music, over to him and we could not be happier with that choice. His ability to select music to help set the mood and tone throughout our wedding is unparalleled. Joe basically created a custom soundtrack for our day and it perfectly reflected our music tastes.
I cannot recommend Century Tree highly enough. They will be the BEST investment you make for your special day and will ensure that you will create and capture many wonderful memories. Thank you again Joe and Shannon for being a part of our day, we are SO grateful you were a part of our vendor team.
